Magic City Boxing Athletic Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Orlando, Florida. This policy explains what we collect when you contact us or sign up, what we do with it, and what we never do with it.
What we collect
- Your name, mobile number and email address, when you give them to us on our booking form, at the front desk, or over the phone.
- Anything you choose to tell us in the notes field, such as your goals or an injury we should know about.
- For the youth program, the athlete's first name and age, and the parent or guardian's contact details.
- Your attendance and membership status, so we know who is training with us.
What we use it for
- Booking your classes and confirming them.
- Class reminders, schedule changes and follow-up about your membership.
- Answering you when you contact us.
- Asking for a review after you have trained with us.
We do not sell your information, and we never share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile opt-in data is shared with anyone for those purposes at any time.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that make the gym run, and only so they can do that job for us. That means our customer records system and the telephone carrier that delivers our text messages. They are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number you may receive text messages from us about your classes, bookings and membership. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. See our Terms and SMS terms for the full detail.
Children
Our youth program is for young athletes, and a parent or guardian registers them and provides the contact details. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13. A parent or guardian may contact us at any time to review or delete their child's information.
Keeping it, and getting rid of it
We keep your information for as long as you are involved with the gym and for a reasonable period afterward. Ask us to delete it and we will, except where we have to keep something to meet a legal or accounting obligation.
Your choices
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reply STOP to any text to stop the texts. Ask us to stop emailing you and we will.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
