Magic City Boxing / Youth Program
Coaching built for young athletes.
Our youth program is not a scaled down adult class. It is designed around what young athletes actually need: structure, attention, and a room where effort is the thing that gets noticed.
What a young athlete gets
- Boxing fundamentals taught properly, at a pace built for their age and stage.
- Discipline, confidence and mentorship alongside the sport, which is the part parents tell us they notice first at home and at school.
- Coaches certified with USA Boxing who came up in the sport themselves.
- A path into the competitive team if they want it, and no pressure to take it if they do not.
Sparring is earned, not required. Plenty of young athletes train here and never spar. Nobody steps into contact until a coach says they are ready and a parent agrees.
What it costs, and what to do if that is a problem
Magic Mites, for ages 6 to 12, is $95 per month and $115 per month for high school, plus a one time $150 registration.
Scholarships are available for families who need them. Ask us. It is the reason we are a nonprofit, and nobody is turned away from the youth program for money alone.
Starting out
Come and see it before you commit to anything. Tell us your child's age and what you are hoping they get out of it, and we will tell you honestly whether this is the right room for them right now. Parents are welcome to stay and watch.
